The core functions of the interface
This is how you ensure seamless interaction between internal and external booking- and HR-systems and Umbrella Faces within your system landscape.
Profiles API (Sync API)
The HTTPS REST API is used to update single, individual profiles (eg. based on user input in an external system). It is used for receiving real-time profile updates from Umbrella Faces and can optionally also send profile updates to Umbrella Faces.
Profile on Demand API (Pull API)
This API allows third-party applications to query profile information from Umbrella Faces after being authorized with OAuth2 authentication. OAuth is a delegated authorization framework for REST/APIs that enables apps to obtain restricted access to a user’s data (only specific data authorized for the app) without giving away a user’s password.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
SSO is a session and user authentication service that permits a user to securely log in to any of various related, yet independent software systems with just one set of credentials. Umbrella Faces supports Identity Provider-Initiated Single Sign-On using SAML 2.0 assertions.
This is how Umbrella Faces works
Our software enables seamless and scalable synchronization of traveler profile data from your employees with booking- and HR-systems. This means that you don't have to update profiles in your different systems. Umbrella Faces does it for you.
